Junior IT Executive
About the role
Micronet Global Services (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior IT Executive to join their team in Colombo 02. The role involves assisting with daily IT operations, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining computer systems and networks, and providing technical support to employees to ensure smooth business operations. Key responsibilities include first-level technical support, installing and maintaining IT equipment, troubleshooting operating systems and network connectivity, supporting LAN and Wi-Fi, and performing routine system updates and security maintenance. Candidates should have relevant qualifications in IT or related fields, basic knowledge of hardware and software, familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office, and knowledge of networking and IT equipment.
Must have
- Diploma, certificate, or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and basic networking.
- Knowledge of printers, scanners, LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
- Previous experience in IT support will be an added advantage.
