Web Software Engineer
About the role
The Web Software Engineer internship at Asia Chartered Institute of Digital Marketing (ACIDM) involves assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications. The intern will work on both front-end and back-end features, write clean code, troubleshoot issues, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical documentation. The role offers the opportunity to learn and apply best practices in web development, support integration and testing, and help improve the performance and usability of ACIDM’s digital platforms. The position is hybrid, based in Sri Lanka, and provides exposure to real-world digital marketing and education technology contexts.
Must have
- Candidates should possess skills in Web Development and Web Applications, with a basic understanding of web technologies and frameworks.
- Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development, including familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, such as working with server-side languages, APIs, and databases.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or certification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Interest in digital marketing and education technology is an advantage.
