Software Engineer - .NET
About the role
This role is for a Software Engineer specializing in .NET technologies to join an offshore development team supporting a Gold Coast, Australia-based client. The position involves designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack web applications, with a focus on VB.Net, ASP.Net, and Blazor. The engineer will work across both front-end and back-end technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot and optimize applications, and adhere to software development best practices. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of software development experience and strong skills in VB.Net or .NET, ASP.NET, MS SQL Server, and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience with Blazor is considered an advantage. The company offers a hybrid working setup based in Nawala.
Must have
- 2 years of Software development experience.
- Strong experience in VB.Net, or .NET with a willingness to learn VB.NET.
- Hands on experience with ASP.NET.
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Blazor will be an added advantage.
