Lead DevOps Engineer
About the role
The Lead DevOps Engineer will architect and oversee all DevOps and SRE-related areas for three products, focusing on deployment architecture for a SaaS platform and ensuring high availability across multiple regions. The role involves leading a team of skilled engineers, being hands-on with technical tasks, collaborating with development and solution teams, and ensuring timely and high-quality SRE deliveries. Candidates should have a strong background in distributed systems, DevOps tools, Linux system administration, troubleshooting, and team management. Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or BSc equivalent qualification with 5+ year(s) experience.
- Extensive experience in distributed systems is essential.
- Extensive experience in K8S, GCP, Docker, observability tools, middleware, is essential.
- Extensive experience in various DevOps tools such as Helm, Ansible is required.
- Extensive experience in Linux system administration tools is required.
- Experience in tools used in troubleshooting Java, C++ services.
- Experience in performance troubleshooting of backend services, databases, message brokers, load balancers, etc.
- Experience in various monitoring tools such as Prometheus.
- Well experienced in various databases, Kubernetes, various load balancers, GCP.
- Extensive experience with Linux/Unix system administration.
- Sound knowledge of operating system concepts.
- Very good communication skill in Sinhala/English is essential.
- Experience in managing technical teams.

Highlights
