Intern Systems Engineer
About the role
The Intern Systems Engineer will support the IT team in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of both cloud and on-premises systems. The role involves monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, supporting Microsoft technologies such as Azure and Microsoft 365, and assisting with the implementation of security measures. The intern will also participate in the development and deployment of cloud-based solutions, conduct product demonstrations, deliver user training sessions, and provide technical support to end-users. This position is ideal for students currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced technology environment.
Must have
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Systems and Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and public speaking abilities, with confidence in engaging both technical and business audiences.
- Ability to create and deliver technical demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions.
- Positive attitude, customer-focused mindset, and willingness to learn.
- Eagerness to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced technology environment.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies is an added advantage.
