About the role
The Assistant Director - Internal Transformation Services (Manager Level) at EY is a leadership role within the global Internal Transformation Services team, focused on driving strategic business transformation initiatives. The position involves partnering with executive leadership to shape transformation agendas, leading multi-workstream programs, influencing senior stakeholders, and building consulting capabilities within the Sri Lanka team. Key responsibilities include designing target operating models, leading organizational change management, developing business cases, and overseeing program execution across global functions. The role requires strong consulting experience, leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in a global environment.
Must have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, management, engineering, technology, economics or a related discipline.
- Typically 10+ years of relevant professional experience, including substantial experience in management consulting, internal consulting or enterprise transformation leadership.
- A track record of shaping and leading complex business transformation program with senior executive sponsorship.
- Demonstrated experience across go-to-market, target operating model and organisational change management assignments.
- Experience leading consulting or program teams, developing talent and maintaining high standards across multiple deliverables.
- Advanced Microsoft 365 capability, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create executive-level materials and performance reporting in English.
Nice to have
- Design Thinking or Human-Centred Design experience, including discovery, ideation, prototyping or facilitated workshops.
- Experience in a Big Four firm, global management consultancy, multinational organisation or global capability centre.
- Recognised certification in organisational change management, project or program management, Agile, Design Thinking or facilitation.
- Experience with AI-enabled transformation, digital adoption, workforce transformation or enterprise technology change.
- MBA or another relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable but not a mandate.
