IT / Systems Admin Manager / Assistant Manager
About the role
This role at Wichy Plantation Company (Pvt) Ltd is for an IT / Systems Admin Manager or Assistant Manager based in Homagama, Sri Lanka. The position is responsible for leading IT operations, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, while driving digital transformation to support the company's export-led business. Key responsibilities include IT strategy and leadership, infrastructure and systems management, cybersecurity and risk management, IT operations and user support, project and vendor management, and budget and compliance. Candidates should have 5–10 years of progressive IT experience, strong technical expertise in enterprise IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, and experience in IT team leadership and systems administration. The company is a leading Sri Lankan manufacturer and exporter of value-added coconut products to over 60 countries.
Must have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- 5 – 10 years of progressive IT experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure and cybersecurity programs.
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft 365, Azure/AWS, Active Directory, network security, virtualization, backup & disaster recovery, and endpoint management.
Nice to have
- Preferred Certifications: ITIL, Microsoft Azure Administrator, CISSP / CISM, PMP (or PRINCE2), CompTIA Security+.
