About the role
Assidua Technologies Pvt Ltd is seeking a Presales Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Colombo. The Presales Engineer will work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, design power and IT solution configurations, and prepare technical proposals, quotations, and presentations. Responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, proof-of-concept setups, technical workshops, responding to technical queries, supporting integration planning, and ensuring solutions meet security, performance, and reliability standards. The role also involves coordinating with vendors and internal teams, providing technical documentation, and supporting account managers throughout the sales cycle.
Must have
- Candidates should possess strong Presales and Sales skills, including requirement gathering, solution positioning, and proposal development.
- Candidates should possess Integration-related skills to design and support the implementation of end-to-end solutions that work seamlessly with existing customer infrastructure.
- Candidates should possess Security awareness and skills to address solution security requirements, risks, and compliance considerations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, vendors, and customers, with strong problem-solving and time-management capabilities.
Nice to have
- Experience with power solutions, infrastructure technologies, or enterprise IT environments is an advantage.
