About the role
The Transformation and Technology Lead will be responsible for driving the simplification, integration, and continuous improvement of Hemas' digital ecosystem. This role focuses on building next-generation Data, AI, and ML capabilities across the group. Key responsibilities include leading technology and data solutions, driving AI/ML and GenAI-enabled initiatives, evolving Databricks and Azure/Microsoft 365 adoption, establishing data governance, and leading transformation and automation projects. The role also involves mentoring tech and data engineers and collaborating with business unit leadership and technology teams to identify and deliver transformation opportunities.
Must have
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data/Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
- 6–15 years of experience with exposure to data platforms, analytics and digital transformation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, data engineering/lakehouse architecture and ML pipelines.
- Practical experience delivering AI/ML and GenAI use cases from ideation to production.
- Working knowledge of SAP RISE, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Experience leading or mentoring technical/data engineering teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, solving and change-management capabilities.
