IT Executive
About the role
The IT Executive at Island Xpress (Pvt) Ltd. will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure, networks, and branch connectivity within the courier and logistics operations. Key duties include providing technical support for courier management and shipment-tracking systems, maintaining barcode scanners, label printers, and other IT equipment, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and ensuring cybersecurity and IT documentation. The role also involves coordinating with software vendors and internet service providers to ensure smooth operations. Candidates should have a diploma or higher in IT or a related field, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and strong technical and communication skills. Must have
- Diploma or Higher Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in the courier or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of networking, computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Experience with courier management systems, barcode technology and shipment-tracking systems will be an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to branches when required.
