About the role
The Information Technology Manager at LCB Finance PLC will oversee the company's IT infrastructure, systems, and applications to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operations. This full-time, on-site role in Colombo involves managing network and server environments, core banking and finance-related systems, and coordinating technology projects that align with business objectives. Key responsibilities include monitoring system performance, managing IT support and helpdesk activities, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, implementing security and backup protocols, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and audit requirements. The IT Manager will also lead and mentor IT team members, manage IT budgets, and document processes and policies. Candidates should have strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, experience with core business and financial systems, proficiency in information security, and skills in IT project management and team leadership. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, and experience in financial services or regulated industries is highly beneficial. Must have
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management, including networks, servers, and storage systems.
- Experience administering core business applications, financial or banking systems, and related databases.
- Proficiency in information security practices, data protection, backup and recovery, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Skills in IT project management, including planning, coordination, and implementation of system upgrades and new solutions.
- Ability to manage IT support operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver user-focused technology services.
- Experience leading IT teams, with skills in team coordination, mentoring, and stakeholder communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., networking, security, project management) are an advantage.
- Background in financial services or regulated industries is highly beneficial, with familiarity in Central Bank or similar compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to work on-site in Colombo and align technology initiatives with business needs.
