Senior Software Engineer – AI/ML
About the role
The Senior Software Engineer – AI/ML will join a healthcare innovation team to develop algorithms, analyze data, and evaluate models that enhance healthcare systems. The role involves supporting AI projects, designing and implementing healthcare-specific AI algorithms, conducting data analysis and visualization, building and optimizing ML models, and documenting methodologies. The engineer will also collaborate with team members and mentor junior staff. Candidates should have a relevant degree, 3-5 years of industry experience, proficiency in Python and ML libraries, strong algorithm and OOP knowledge, and experience with data analysis and visualization. Familiarity with agile processes, cloud platforms, and deep learning tools is beneficial.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of industry experience in software engineering, with exposure to AI/ML projects.
- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and OOP (C#, Java).
- Experience with statistical and ML techniques (linear/logistic regression, Random Forest, etc.).
- Hands-on with data analysis and visualization (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib).
- Familiarity with agile development processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of deep learning and generative AI tools is a plus.
