Head of YouTube Strategy (AI & Creative Channel Network)
About the role
TechZnap is seeking a Head of YouTube Strategy to lead the direction and growth of its AI and entertainment YouTube channel network. The role involves setting content strategy, analyzing performance metrics, running A/B tests, and launching new channels. The Head of YouTube Strategy will translate analytics into actionable decisions, create clear briefs for the production team, and deliver regular performance reviews to the CEO. The position is on-site in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka, and requires close collaboration with writers, editors, and designers in a fast-growing, AI-native environment.
Must have
- 3+ years growing YouTube channels, your own or clients'. Show us the channels and the numbers you moved.
- Deep comfort with YouTube Studio, including retention graphs, traffic sources, CTR, RPM, and what each one tells you.
- You can recognise a strong hook, script and thumbnail, and explain why it works.
- You use AI tools confidently for research, ideation and analysis to work faster and smarter. You also know their limits, and you always apply your own judgement before anything goes live.
- You build clear plans, calendars and frameworks that a production team can follow without guesswork.
- You lead through trust, not titles. When plans and schedules meet pushback, you listen, explain the reasoning, and win the team's buy-in. You collaborate closely with writers, editors and designers so the whole team moves forward together.
