Intern - Data Protection
About the role
The Intern - Data Protection role involves supporting the Group Data Protection function by maintaining documentation, coordinating PDPA implementation activities, following up on outstanding requirements, assisting with assessments and compliance monitoring, conducting research, and providing administrative support. The position is suitable for undergraduates or recent graduates from relevant fields such as Law, IT, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Business, Compliance, or Risk Management. Candidates should possess strong research, analytical, documentation, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. The role requires professionalism, confidentiality, and a willingness to learn about data protection and privacy.
Must have
- Undergraduate or recent graduate in Law, IT, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Business, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related field
- Good research, analytical, and documentation skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to coordinate with different departments and manage multiple tasks
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and develop knowledge in data protection and privacy
