About the role
The Senior Technical Product Manager will be responsible for owning and driving the strategy, roadmap, and ongoing enhancement of card acquiring and merchant payment solutions. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of payment processing, including authorization, clearing, settlement, fraud management, and dispute handling. The position requires leading relationships with card schemes, payment partners, vendors, and processors, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security requirements, and collaborating with technology teams to deliver scalable and secure payment platforms. Monitoring product performance and driving continuous improvement are also key aspects of the role.
Must have
- Degree-qualified professional with at least 8 years of experience in card acquiring, payments, or technical product management.
- Strong knowledge of Visa, Mastercard, payment gateways, acquiring platforms, EMV, tokenization, and payment security standards.
- Experience managing payment vendors, card schemes, and cross-functional technology projects.
- Familiarity with PCI-DSS, regulatory compliance, and payment industry best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
