Technical Lead - Full Stack (1 year contract)
About the role
Insighture is seeking a Technical Lead - Full Stack (1 year contract) to join their team of technology consultants. The role involves designing and executing risk-based test scenarios, performing both manual and automated testing, and leading quality assurance efforts across complex product workflows. The Technical Lead will build and maintain automated test suites, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, conduct performance testing, and use AI tools to enhance testing productivity. Responsibilities also include validating backend data integrity, planning and executing cross-squad system integration testing, and championing clean code and quality practices. The position requires significant experience in QA, automation, and modern development tooling, supporting Insighture's mission to deliver digital transformation solutions for global clients.
Must have
- 6–8+ years of total QA experience, demonstrating a strong balance between hands-on manual testing and test automation.
- Hands-on UI & API Automation: Practical coding proficiency in C# / .NET or Java (alongside TypeScript/JavaScript) using frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress, plus REST/GraphQL API testing (REST Assured, Postman, or native HTTP client libraries).
- Strong SQL & Data Testing: Proven ability to query relational databases to validate complex calculation engines, data transformations, and reporting outputs.
- Modern Tooling & CI/CD: Practical experience with Git, CI/CD pipeline integration (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins), and Jira-based test management (Xray, Zephyr, or TestRail).
- Cross-Squad SIT Execution: Hands-on experience executing end-to-end SIT cycles across squad boundaries, validating shared APIs/data flows, and driving defect triage directly with engineers.
