Senior Product Manager - Aerospace & Defense (AI-Native)
About the role
IFS is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development of AI-based Aerospace & Defense Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) software solutions. The role involves identifying investment cases, driving product strategy and roadmap planning, conducting market and competitive analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritize features and guide product development. The Product Manager will also define and monitor KPIs, engage with airline customers and stakeholders, and help develop go-to-market strategies for MRO products. Candidates should have a strong background in the aviation industry, experience with MRO operations, and a comprehensive understanding of relevant tools, processes, and regulations. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, as the role requires interfacing with customers and senior leadership. Must have
- A degree in Computer Science, or a related STEM field; MBA is a plus
- Seasoned in the A&D industry, working with an Airline, MRO or OEM
- Proven experience in bringing complex MRO products from concept to deployment
- Comprehensive understanding of MRO tools, processes and regulatory requirements, interfacing with Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions
- Deep experience in managing through influence and driving results through cross functional teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience interfacing with customers and senior leadership.
