IT Executive
About the role
The IT Executive will provide first-level and second-level support for end-users through help desk operations, troubleshoot and resolve IT infrastructure issues, diagnose and repair hardware and software problems, configure and support ERP systems, generate MIS reports, and install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems. The role requires hands-on experience in IT support, proficiency in Microsoft Office and 365, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills. The position is based at Colombo Port City, Sri Lanka, with OneWorld Duty Free, a Singapore-based duty-free operator.
Must have
- Male candidate, preferably below 30 years of age.
- Advanced Diploma, HND, or NVQ Level 4 qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the Microsoft 365 suite.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, preferably within the FMCG, retail, or duty-free sectors, with a focus on Level 1 and Level 2 technical support.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Capable of meeting deadlines and working effectively under pressure.
- Willingness to work on a roster basis, including late hours and weekends when required.
- Good communication skills in English.
