Senior Engineer (Managed Services)
About the role
The Senior Engineer (Managed Services) role is responsible for managing and configuring billing systems, including hands-on work with CRL writing and Huawei CBS platforms. The position requires strong Linux/Unix administration skills, code-level changes using C++ and Python, and a deep understanding of telecom protocols and interfaces such as CAP, DCC, SS7, SMPP, VoIP, Sy, Gx, and Gy. The engineer will be involved in billing operations, troubleshooting, debug log analysis, call/data flow management, and integrating billing systems with third-party platforms. The role also includes conducting impact assessments and recommending technical solutions. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Must have

- Hands-on experience with billing system configuration, CRL writing, and Huawei CBS platforms.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration skills.
- Knowledge of C++ and Python for code-level changes.
- Strong understanding of CAP, DCC, SS7, SMPP, VoIP, Sy, Gx, and Gy interfaces.
- Experience in billing operations, troubleshooting, debug log analysis, and call/data flow management.
- Knowledge of billing modules such as Debt Collector, AR, and GL.
- Experience integrating billing systems with third-party platforms.
- Ability to conduct impact assessments and recommend technical solutions.
