Senior Technical BA and Program Delivery Lead
About the role
This full-time, on-site position in Colombo is for a Senior Technical Business Analyst and Program Delivery Lead. The role focuses on leading business and systems analysis, gathering and validating requirements, and mapping business processes to technical solutions. The individual will work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate business needs into specifications, user stories, and solution designs. Responsibilities include overseeing program delivery, coordinating project teams, managing timelines, tracking risks and issues, supporting testing and validation, and reporting progress to leadership. The position also emphasizes continuous improvement in delivery practices.
Must have
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and propose pragmatic solutions.
- Proficiency in business analysis and defining business requirements, including translating stakeholder needs into clear, actionable documentation.
- Experience in modeling, optimizing, and documenting business processes to align operations with technology solutions.
- Systems analysis skills, including understanding system interactions, dependencies, and technical constraints.
- Proven experience leading program or project delivery in a technical environment, ideally in software development or IT services. minimum 5 years.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and facilitate productive workshops and meetings.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Nice to have
- advanced certifications in Business Analysis or Project/Program Management (e.g., CBAP, PMP, Agile/Scrum) are an advantage.
- Experience with agile and/or hybrid delivery methodologies and familiarity with common BA and PM tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Office, collaboration platforms).
