Senior Business Analyst (IGT1)
About the role
The Senior Business Analyst at IGT1 will join the product team to shape business requirements and solutions for enterprise-level initiatives. The role involves analyzing business needs, breaking down complex requirements, and translating them into actionable items for product, design, engineering, and QA teams. The analyst will collaborate closely with stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and use AI tools to enhance analysis and product development processes. Candidates should have a strong background in business analysis within a software product environment, experience with Agile methodologies, and a product-oriented mindset. The company offers a flexible and hybrid work environment, supporting both remote and in-person collaboration.
Must have
- 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis or a similar role within a software product environment.
- Strong ability to analyze and break down complex or incomplete business requirements.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Ability to work with requirements at an early stage, before they are fully defined or added to the backlog.
- Good understanding of how business requirements translate into product functionality and system changes.
- Ability to suggest solutions and alternatives rather than only documenting requirements.
- Product-oriented mindset with the ability to consider business value, user needs and feasibility when looking at solutions.
- Practical experience using AI tools as part of your day-to-day work.
- Willingness to explore and adopt new AI tools and approaches to improve the way you work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with different teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of problems from analysis through to delivery.
Nice to have
- A good understanding of UI/UX principles and a keen eye for usability, consistency and user experience.
- Experience creating simple wireframes, user flows or prototypes.
- Experience working closely with Product Owners or Product Managers.
- Experience with tools such as Figma or similar prototyping tools.
- Experience working with enterprise software or complex business applications.
- Experience in EAM, CMMS, asset management or a similar domain.
- Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, data or technical architecture.
- Experience facilitating discovery, scoping or solution workshops.
