About the role

The System Administrator (Tier 1/Tier 2) role at CSG Technologies involves supporting global clients with IT services from their Managed Services / Network Operations Center in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Tier 1 responsibilities include being the first point of contact for client tickets, providing user account support, troubleshooting common IT issues, monitoring alerts, applying updates, documenting/escalating issues, and delivering customer service. Tier 2 responsibilities expand to administering Windows and Linux environments, managing Active Directory and related services, configuring and maintaining network infrastructure, working with virtualization and backup systems, managing Microsoft 365 and Azure, leading infrastructure projects, performing root cause analysis, mentoring Tier 1 staff, and participating in on-call rotation. Must have

First point of contact for client tickets
User account support (AD, Microsoft 365)
Troubleshoot workstations, printers, connectivity and common issues
Monitor RMM, backup and security alerts
Apply patches and updates
Document and escalate when needed
Deliver excellent customer service
Administer Windows Server and Linux environments
Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
Configure and maintain firewalls, switches, VPNs and wireless
Work with virtualization and backup/DR systems
Manage Microsoft 365 and Azure administration
Lead small to mid-sized infrastructure projects
Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes
Mentor and support Tier 1 team members
Participate in on-call rotation
