Intern - Business Analyst
About the role
The Business Analyst Intern will support the Lead Analyst in gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for custom software, internal products, and integrations with business systems such as Sage and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The role involves conducting data analysis, utilizing AI tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing reports and presentations, and supporting the business analysis process throughout the software development lifecycle. The position offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to professional software development and business environments.
Must have
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in or experience with Generative AI and AI tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse teams and business units.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Nice to have
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts.
