Consultant – SAP FICO
About the role
The Consultant – SAP FICO will be responsible for configuring and supporting SAP FICO sub-modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, New GL and Document Splitting, Overhead Cost Accounting, Product Costing, Material Ledger with Actual Costing, and CO-PA. The role involves analyzing and resolving production support issues, gathering business requirements, preparing functional specifications, performing system configuration, testing, UAT support, deployment activities, supporting month-end and year-end financial closing, and working closely with ABAP developers on custom developments and integrations. The position is with John Keells Information Technology (Pvt) Ltd, a leading IT solutions provider in Sri Lanka.
Must have
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration and support across the above-mentioned sub-modules.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes.
- Experience in requirements gathering, functional specifications, testing, UAT, and deployment.
- Experience supporting month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Ability to work effectively with ABAP developers on technical developments and integrations.
