Project Management Intern
About the role
Irusri Group, an IT consulting company with operations in Sweden and Sri Lanka, is seeking a Project Manager Intern for a paid internship. The intern will assist in planning, structuring, and delivering software projects, working closely with cross-functional teams across multiple countries. Responsibilities include organizing project meetings, tracking progress using tools like JIRA or Trello, maintaining documentation, supporting coordination among stakeholders, and preparing dashboards and reports. The role offers hands-on experience in project management within a fast-paced tech environment, mentorship, and the potential for a full-time offer.
Must have
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, IT/Information Systems, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; structured, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and basic project tracking tools.
- Interest in technology, digital products, and learning modern project management practices.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-cultural, fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum or project management concepts is a plus.
- Knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
