About the role
The Consultant - Data Security & Compliance at HCLTech Sri Lanka is responsible for managing and resolving escalated security incidents, providing leadership and mentorship to team members, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The role involves reviewing change implementation plans, assessing risks, engaging with customers, performing root cause and trend analysis, and supporting pre-sales initiatives with technical expertise in data security, compliance, and GRC. Candidates should have strong skills in security incident management, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management, as well as knowledge of capacity planning and operational efficiency. The position is based in Colombo and offers opportunities to work on strategic digital transformation projects within a global technology company.
Must have
- Expertise in Data Security, Compliance, GRC, and Pre-sales.
- Strong root cause analysis and security incident management skills.
- Experience in creating and improving SOPs and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of capacity planning, operational efficiency, and product lifecycle management.
Nice to have
- Educational background in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (preferred).
