QA Intern
About the role
Empite is seeking QA Interns to participate in projects focused on building enterprise mobile and web applications. The role involves software testing, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring application quality. Candidates should be final year undergraduates or graduates in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification. Familiarity with testing concepts, attention to detail, effective communication, and teamwork are essential. The position is open only to Sri Lankan residents and is offered as a work-from-home opportunity.
Must have
- Should be a final year undergraduate or a graduate in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information technology, Software Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- Familiarity with fundamental testing concepts and methodologies is required.
- The ability to identify and report software defects effectively is essential.
- Ability to spot even the smallest issues during software testing.
- Candidates must have the ability to function as a team player with a positive attitude.
- Good written, strong communication skills and ability to take ownership of the quality of the application.
Nice to have
- Knowledge in Python language and any automation testing concepts would be an added advantage.
