About the role
The Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for driving the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade technology solutions within the Banking and Financial Services sector. This hands-on leadership role involves leading software engineering teams, defining solution architectures, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. The role requires strong technical expertise, architectural vision, and experience in regulated financial environments. Candidates must have significant experience in banking integrations, technical leadership, and Java development. Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 9 years of overall experience in software development and technology delivery.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Technical Lead or in an equivalent technical leadership role.
- Proven experience in large-scale core banking or business banking migrations and support-oriented engagements.
- Strong understanding of banking systems, financial technology platforms, payment systems, digital banking solutions, or core banking integrations.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications in highly regulated environments.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java development and technical leadership.
- Expertise in software architecture, system integration, API development, and enterprise application design.
- Experience leading and mentoring development teams.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software development practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and containerized architectures.
- Relevant industry or technical certifications.
