Application Developer (Night Shift)
About the role
Legacy Health is hiring an experienced Application Developer for a night shift position in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable desktop and mobile applications using React, React Native, Spring Boot, Python, and AI/LLMs. Responsibilities include backend development, database management and optimization, cloud deployment, and AI integration. Candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree in software engineering or related field, and strong hands-on expertise in React, React Native, Python, REST APIs, and cloud platforms. The position requires proficiency in database optimization, DevOps, and secure deployment processes.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
- 5+ years of relevant software development experience, with a proven track record of delivering scalable applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with React and React Native for desktop and mobile application development.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot, Python, REST APIs, and backend application development.
- Practical experience with MSSQL and cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Demonstrable experience deploying and scaling locally hosted LLMs and integrating AI models into applications.
- Expertise in AI model and database optimization, AI-assisted software development, DevOps, DevSecOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Open to work according to standard US hours and calendar.
