About the role
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will report directly to the CEO and collaborate with senior leadership to align the company's technology roadmap with business goals. The role involves overseeing the IT department, managing cybersecurity and data governance, and ensuring scalable, secure, and innovative systems to support organizational growth. Key responsibilities include developing and executing IT strategy, leading technology initiatives such as cloud migration and digital transformation, overseeing IT operations, driving data strategy and analytics, evaluating emerging technologies, and leading a high-performing IT team. Candidates must have significant experience in IT leadership, a strong background in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, strategic and leadership skills, and a relevant bachelor's degree.
Must have
- Proven experience as a CIO or in a senior IT leadership role (15+ years).
- Strong background in IT infrastructure, enterprise systems and cybersecurity.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align tech innovation with business outcomes.
- Exceptional leadership, communication and change management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
