About the role

This remote role is for an AI Automation & Digital Marketing Specialist to work with a UK-based business. The position focuses on developing and implementing AI-powered lead generation, automated outreach, and business process automation systems. Responsibilities include researching and building automation tools, developing B2B prospecting workflows, supporting digital marketing activities such as SEO and Google Ads, and collaborating with the IT team on technical implementation. Candidates should have hands-on experience building AI and automation systems, strong technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage projects independently. The role offers the opportunity to expand into broader AI and automation responsibilities within the company.

Must have

Practical experience building AI and automation systems for real business use.
Experience with AI-powered lead generation, prospecting or automated outreach.
Ability to build workflows and automations from the ground up.
Strong understanding of prospect research, data enrichment and automated email.
Comfortable researching new technologies and deciding which tools are suitable for a particular requirement.
Strong technical problem-solving skills.
Able to manage projects independently and take responsibility for implementation.
Strong written and spoken English.
Good commercial understanding and awareness of how automation should support business results.

Nice to have

Experience with Apollo, Claude or similar AI platforms.
Experience building AI agents.
CRM automation and system integrations.
SEO and Google Ads experience.
LinkedIn B2B prospecting.
Website development or optimisation.

Highlights

Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM IST, and Friday, 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM IST. Monthly compensation ranges from LKR 120,000 to LKR 150,000. The position is fully remote. The role may develop into a position with significant ownership over the company's AI and automation systems.
