Frontend Developer Intern
About the role
VisionRoot (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a motivated Frontend Developer Intern to join their team. This internship is ideal for students or early-career developers looking to gain hands-on experience in building modern, responsive web applications and collaborating with a professional software development team. The intern will work on developing and maintaining web applications, converting UI/UX designs into functional interfaces, integrating with REST APIs, and participating in Agile development activities. The role offers exposure to technologies such as React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, and more. Applicants should be pursuing a relevant degree and possess basic to intermediate knowledge of React, along with a willingness to learn and collaborate.
Must have
- Currently pursuing a degree, diploma, or higher education in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of React.
- Understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first development.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and JSON.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Understanding of basic programming and component-based development concepts.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and development practices.
- Proactive attitude and ability to take ownership of assigned tasks.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with TypeScript is an advantage.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, Vite, Next.js, or similar technologies.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS, Material UI, shadcn/ui, or other UI libraries.
- Familiarity with React Router.
- Experience with TanStack Query, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar state-management tools.
- Experience with frontend form validation libraries such as React Hook Form or Zod.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and authentication systems.
- Familiarity with JWT, HTTP-only cookies, OAuth, or session-based authentication.
- Experience working with Figma.
- Understanding of accessibility and semantic HTML.
- Basic knowledge of frontend performance optimization.
- Familiarity with browser Developer Tools.
- Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with deployment platforms such as Vercel, Netlify, or Azure.
- Experience with Firebase, Supabase, or similar cloud services.
- Basic understanding of SEO and web performance.
- Experience building dashboards, SaaS applications, e-commerce platforms, or AI-powered web applications.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum.
- Personal projects, GitHub repositories, or a portfolio demonstrating frontend development skills.
