Network Administrator IT Infrastructure Services
About the role
The Network Administrator IT Infrastructure Services will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's network infrastructure, troubleshooting computers, servers, and related hardware and software across all premises. The role includes maintaining logs and schedules for repairs, cabling, supporting server storage hardware, and backups. The administrator will monitor, design, and deploy IT and network infrastructure solutions, analyze business needs, and coordinate with internal and external support teams. The position requires relevant qualifications and experience in IT infrastructure, network management, and communication skills.
Must have
- Degree or relevant Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar capacity with experience in server operating systems, desktop operating systems, and exposure to different firewalls and familiarity with patch panels, structured cabling, and server room best practices.
- Certification related to IT networking, Cloud, and Microsoft server technologies would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in network management
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) is an added advantage
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Willing to work on a roster and be able to work for extended hours when required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
