UI/UX & Operations Intern
About the role
Ceylonry Labs.io is seeking a UI/UX & Operations Intern to join their Menu & Setup team for the Ceylonry POS platform. The intern will focus on designing and improving user interfaces and flows in Figma, turning ideas and feedback into wireframes and prototypes, and ensuring design consistency. The role also involves operational tasks such as setting up customer POS systems, creating onboarding materials, and tracking customer feedback. Candidates should be undergraduates or recent graduates in a relevant field, have a UI/UX portfolio, working knowledge of Figma, and be organized for remote work. The internship is paid and offers a path to a full-time position.
Must have
- Undergraduate or recent graduate in UI/UX, interaction design, IT, computer science, multimedia or a related field
- A portfolio of UI/UX work (university projects count)
- Working knowledge of Figma
- A good eye for clean, simple design and attention to detail
- Clear English; Sinhala or Tamil is a plus
- Organised and reliable working remotely, with your own laptop and internet

Highlights
The internship is fully remote, based in Sri Lanka, and requires 5 flexible hours per day, Monday to Friday.
