Head of Software Delivery
About the role
Synapsys is seeking a Head of Software Delivery to strengthen its engineering leadership team. The role involves leading and managing senior technical staff, overseeing technical standards and architecture decisions, and ensuring code quality across software development teams. Responsibilities include resource planning, partnering with product and delivery officers, driving best practices in .NET, Node.js, React, and MS SQL, managing technical risk and security, and championing AI and automation adoption. The company is a fintech software provider serving the financial services industry in Sri Lanka and globally, and is a subsidiary of DFCC Bank PLC.
Must have
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in an engineering leadership role.
- Strong hands-on background in .NET, Node.js, React, and MS SQL.
- Experience managing pooled or matrixed engineering teams delivering across multiple products.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
Nice to have
- Experience in banking or fintech software is strongly preferred.
- Experience in use of AI and other tools to complement the development delivery process and other automations including QA automation and CI/CD pipelines.
