Software Engineer Intern
About the role
Ryzite is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join their digital marketing and development agency. This full-time remote internship involves supporting the development of web applications and internal tools, implementing backend features, writing maintainable code, debugging, and collaborating with senior engineers. The intern will also assist with API integration, performance optimization, code reviews, documentation, and testing. The role is designed to provide hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment, contributing to Ryzite’s digital marketing and web development projects. Candidates should have a strong foundation in computer science, programming skills, and familiarity with web technologies.
Must have
- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts (data structures, algorithms, software architecture).
- Skills in Software Development and Programming, including writing efficient, readable, and well-documented code.
- Experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development, focusing on server-side logic, APIs, and databases.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their practical application in modern languages.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language commonly used for web development (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or similar).
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTTP, REST, JSON) and version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with distributed team members.
