Technical Lead
About the role
KAYA is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to architect, design, and deliver technical solutions for their Governed AI Execution Platform, which supports large regulated organizations in operationalizing AI at scale. The role involves leading the development of AI/ML features, building scalable microservices and event-driven architectures, deploying AI models, and ensuring best practices in software engineering and DevOps. The Technical Lead will also mentor junior engineers and drive innovation in AI workflow automation. Candidates should have extensive experience in AI/ML, fullstack development, and cloud-based AI solutions, with strong programming skills and expertise in both backend and frontend technologies.
Must have
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in AI/ML and fullstack development.
- Expertise in building AI-powered applications, leveraging LLMs, NLP, and deep learning models.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Node.js, TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of cloud-based AI solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience in microservices, REST/WebSockets, and real-time API development.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps, MLOps, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in vector databases, RAG-based search, and AI-powered data retrieval.
- Expertise in GenAI Development and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Proficiency in LangChain, Haystack, LangGraph for AI-driven workflow automation.
- Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) & semantic search optimization.
- Experience in vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, Neo4j) and graph-based AI solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Speech-to-Text technologies (Whisper, Google Text-to-Speech).
- Backend expertise in Java, Python, Node.js, Spring Boot.
- Frontend skills with React.js, Angular, and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in Microservices Architecture & API Development.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps (Jenkins, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of AI-powered Search & Semantic Understanding (HyDE, MMR, LLM reranking).
Nice to have
- Experience in AI-powered chatbot & IVR automation.
- Proficiency in Dashboard Development & AI Monitoring (Splunk, AppDynamics, OpenTelemetry).
- Ability to optimize real-time AI solutions using WebSockets and analytics-driven AI interactions.
