QA Intern
About the role
The QA Intern role involves designing, developing, and executing test cases, performing manual and regression testing, and assisting in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts. The intern will also identify, document, and track software defects, and collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality software releases. Candidates should be undergraduates or recent graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field, with a strong interest in test automation and basic knowledge of relevant tools and programming languages. This internship offers hands-on experience with real client and SaaS products, exposure to modern QA practices, mentorship, and the potential for a permanent position based on performance.
Must have
- Undergraduate or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
- Strong interest in Test Automation (essential)
- Basic knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, or similar
- Basic programming knowledge (Java, JavaScript, Python)
- Understanding of Software Testing concepts and SDLC
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- API testing using Postman
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD
- Knowledge of Jira or similar tools
