Lead Engineer Database
About the role
The Lead Engineer Database will play a key role in implementing advanced technologies to deliver efficient and productive technical solutions for centralized database infrastructure. Responsibilities include evaluating and recommending database technologies, ensuring security and audit compliance with ISO27001 and PCIDSS standards, and performing database analysis, consolidation, performance tuning, and capacity planning. The role also involves in-depth troubleshooting and resolution of database system issues. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor's degree, at least three years of experience as a database administrator in a datacenter, and certifications in Microsoft SQL Server Administration or other DBMS. Project management and strong problem-solving skills are essential. Certification in VMware or Nutanix and experience with AI tools and strategies are considered advantageous.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Science which recognized by the University Grants Commission.
- Minimum three (03) years of experience in DB Administrator in a Datacenter.
- Certification in Microsoft SQL Server Administration for SQL Server or Certification in other DBMS, such as DB2, PostgreSQL etc.
- Excellent Project Management Skills and Strong Problem Solving Skills.
Nice to have
- Certification in VMware or Nutanix is advantageous.
