About the role
The Senior Assistant - Core MIS (BI Data Engineer) role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data infrastructure and analytics solutions to support business intelligence initiatives. The position requires working closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust data solutions. Key responsibilities include developing scalable data pipelines and ETL processes, optimizing data processing, implementing data governance and security, and ensuring data quality through profiling and validation. The role is suited for candidates with strong experience in MSBI SQL Stack, Python scripting, data modeling, and database development.
Must have
- 3rd year of a degree from a recognize university preferably a degree in computer science/IT
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Information Technology, with expertise in MSBI SQL Stack (SSAS,SSIS,SSRS) and Python Scripting.
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and experience with data modeling tools.
- Oracle and SQL database development and strong PLSQL skills
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI
- Good understanding of Data Warehousing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality data solutions.
