Intern Software Engineer
About the role
Zenlise is offering a 6-month remote internship for an Intern Software Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with the engineering team to build and maintain backend APIs, develop client-facing features, write unit tests, and participate in code reviews. The internship provides hands-on experience with real client projects, mentorship from experienced engineers, and the opportunity to develop production-level software skills. Applicants should be currently studying for or have recently completed a degree in a relevant field and possess a strong understanding of OOP, DSA, and basic programming knowledge.
Must have
- Currently studying for or recently completed a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA)
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript
- Understanding of Git, REST APIs, and SQL fundamentals
- Good written and spoken English
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, and take ownership of tasks
Nice to have
- Experience building projects using Go or Node.js
- A GitHub profile showcasing personal or academic projects
- Basic knowledge of Docker or cloud deployment
- Experience working with databases and backend frameworks

Highlights
