Operations Intern
About the role
The Operations Intern will support various analytical and reporting tasks related to demand trends, performance, and pricing. Key responsibilities include preparing analytical reports and dashboards, assisting with data collection and validation, and conducting ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making. The role is suitable for undergraduates or recent graduates in fields such as Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, or Business Analytics, as well as those currently pursuing a degree with a strong analytical component. Candidates should have good communication, organizational, and time-management skills, attention to detail, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. The company is a leading tech start-up in Sri Lanka, now a Public Limited Company, focused on innovating mobility tech solutions.
Must have
- Undergraduate or recent graduate in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Candidates currently pursuing a degree with a strong statistics/analytical component are also encouraged to apply.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
