Application Support Engineer
About the role
GPV Lanka is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join their IT Department. The role involves supporting and managing ERP systems, software development, database management, and providing application support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as INFOR SyteLine or MS Dynamics, strong programming skills in C++, VB.NET, and C#.NET, and expertise in SQL scripting and database management. Additional responsibilities include working with reporting tools like SSRS, Crystal Reports, and Power BI, as well as administering Windows Server environments and virtualization tools. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative IT solutions within a dynamic team at GPV Lanka.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably INFOR SyteLine, MS Dynamics NAV/AX/365.
- Proficiency in C++, VB.NET, and C#.NET.
- Practical expertise in SQL scripting (MS SQL/Oracle) and SQL Server databases.
- Knowledge of SSRS Reports, Crystal Reports, and Microsoft Power BI.
- Knowledge of Windows Server and client administration, including virtualization tools.
