About the role

The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions by analyzing requirements, developing and executing test plans, designing and maintaining test cases, and performing both manual and automated testing. The role involves defect management, implementing QA standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting user acceptance testing, and preparing test reports. Candidates should have a relevant degree, 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation, and proficiency in tools such as Selenium and automated testing frameworks. The position values strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Must have

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, an IT-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
ISTQB examination (certification or completed examination).
Proficiency in Selenium, automated testing frameworks, test case design, and defect management.
Understanding of performance and load testing, test automation framework design, Agile/SCRUM methodologies, SDLC, API testing, and CI/CD practices.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality software.
Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies.

Nice to have

Experience with AxelQ or similar low-code/codeless automation platforms is preferred.
Exposure to Out Systems is an added advantage.
