About the role

This role is for a C# / .NET Developer with 2–5 years of commercial experience to join a hybrid team focused on both application development and support. The position involves developing and maintaining enterprise applications using C#, .NET, WPF, Angular, and React, as well as supporting and troubleshooting existing systems. Responsibilities include investigating application issues, resolving technical problems, communicating with users and international stakeholders, and participating in a shared support rota that may include some evening shifts and public holidays. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in C#/.NET, experience with desktop and web application development, and good communication abilities for client interaction and teamwork.

Must have

2–5 years of commercial software development experience.
Strong knowledge of C# and .NET.
Experience with WPF and XAML or desktop application development.
Understanding of MVVM architecture.
Experience with REST APIs and backend services.
Working knowledge of Angular, React or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Familiarity with SQL Server and Entity Framework.
Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Understanding of unit testing, source control and software development practices.
Ability to work with existing systems and unfamiliar codebases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good spoken and written English communication skills.
Confidence in communicating with users and international clients.
Ability to understand, investigate and explain technical issues.
Ability to provide clear and professional progress updates.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
