About the role
Residue Solutions (Pvt) Ltd is hiring a Business Data Analyst to join their team. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business data to identify trends, measure performance, and provide actionable insights. The analyst will work closely with management, technical teams, and stakeholders to develop reports, dashboards, and data-driven recommendations that support both strategic and operational decision-making. Key responsibilities include data collection and validation, dashboard and report creation, KPI monitoring, translating business requirements into analytical solutions, and supporting forecasting and planning processes.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data analysis tools.
- Proficiency in SQL for retrieving, filtering, and analysing data.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or a similar business intelligence platform.
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is an advantage.
- Good understanding of data cleaning, validation, modelling, and visualization.
- Ability to analyse business processes and convert business requirements into data solutions.
- Familiarity with key performance indicators, forecasting, and statistical analysis.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Previous experience or a strong portfolio in business or data analysis is preferred.
