Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer
About the role
Capricon Private Limited is seeking an Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer for a remote, contract position. The role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of the company's software products by designing and executing manual test cases, performing functional and regression testing, and documenting defects. The engineer will work closely with developers and stakeholders to validate features, support issue resolution, and contribute to the improvement of QA processes and documentation. Candidates should have strong skills in software quality assurance, manual testing, and a foundational understanding of software development concepts. Must have
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Manual Testing, including test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
- Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of Software Development concepts and the software development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are required.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a remote, cross-functional environment are essential.
Nice to have
- Relevant experience with issue tracking tools, test management systems, and version control platforms is beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with basic automation testing concepts or tools is a plus, but not mandatory.
