Senior Scrum Master
About the role
The Senior Scrum Master will facilitate and coach multiple Scrum teams to deliver high-quality products, guiding them in Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe. The role involves removing impediments, fostering continuous improvement, and ensuring Agile best practices are implemented. Responsibilities include Agile coaching, conducting workshops, JIRA administration, release and delivery management, and collaborating with stakeholders to scale Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have significant experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, expertise in JIRA, and hands-on experience in Agile coaching and release management. The position requires working closely with engineering, product, and delivery teams to drive Agile adoption and organizational improvement.
Must have
- Experience: 7+ years as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Agile Delivery Lead or similar role managing multiple teams.
- Agile Certifications (any one or more): Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP-ACC or equivalent), Scrum Alliance Certified Team Coach (CTC) or Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC)
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).
- Expertise in JIRA administration, dashboards, reporting, and automation.
- Deep experience in Release Management and CI/CD best practices.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience in Agile coaching, training, and mentoring teams.
- Experience working with Agile tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Rally.
Nice to have
- Experience in Agile transformation at the enterprise level.
- Background in software development, product management, or IT project management.
- Strong technical understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile engineering best practices.
- Engage in rollout of Agile frameworks (DA, SAFe or Scrum)
