Senior Software Engineer – Java/Angular
About the role
This position is for a Senior Software Engineer to join a distributed agile team focused on modernizing a multi-tenant cloud SaaS HRIS product suite, including Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and CoreHR. The role involves developing new features and modernizing existing products using Java (Spring) and Angular, working as a full-stack engineer responsible for both backend and frontend delivery, designing and querying relational databases, and adopting a shift-left development approach with ownership of testing and verification. The engineer will also leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and accelerate delivery.
Must have
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and Angular
- Familiarity with RDBMS and SQL (Oracle & PL/SQL preferred)
- Experience working in agile, distributed teams
- Ability to deliver secure, scalable, and modernized SaaS applications
