Associate Business Analyst
About the role
The Associate Business Analyst at LAUGFS Holdings Limited will work closely with business stakeholders and senior analysts to understand business objectives, user needs, and project requirements. The role involves supporting the elicitation, analysis, validation, and documentation of business and system requirements, preparing process flows, maintaining key documentation, and acting as a communication bridge between business, technical, and QA teams. The candidate will also participate in the full software development lifecycle, support UAT coordination, and recommend process improvements. Applicants should have a relevant bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience in business analysis or a related field, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Must have
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Project Coordination, Product Support, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- A good grasp of business analysis techniques and requirement documentation.
- Basic understanding of SDLC methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and/or Waterfall.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non- technical stakeholders.
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to spot gaps or inconsistencies in requirements.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities under pressure.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Figma, Balsamiq, Visio, or Drawio, along with basic knowledge of SQL, databases, APIs, or system integrations, and exposure to UAT coordination or software testing, will be considered an added advantage
- Domain knowledge in areas like Retail/POS, CRM, E-commerce, Supply Chain, ERP, or HR systems is a plus, but candidates without this background are equally welcome to apply.
